Amanda Rea, MFA
Amanda received her MFA from the University of California, Irvine, where she was awarded the Arlene Cheng Graduate Fellowship. In 2005, her work was nominated for Best New American Voices. Her fiction has appeared in Glimmer Train, Green Mountains Review, Iowa Review and is forthcoming in Indiana Review. She was recently awarded an associateship from the Rocky Mountain Women's Institute in Denver, and a seven-month fellowship in fiction at the Fine Arts Work Center in Provincetown. Amanda currently serves as Program Director of the Young Writers Program at Lighthouse, and Editor of the Beacon.
