Christina Mengert, PhD
Christina Mengert holds a BA from University of Georgia and an MFA in poetry from Brown University. She won the Kim Ann Arstark Memorial Award for Poetry in 2004, and was recently selected for the Best New Poets 2006 anthology by Eric Pankey.
Her work has appeared in American Letters & Commentary, Aufgabe, Canary, Phoebe, Salt, Typo, and elsewhere.
Her first collection of poetry, The Last Night of Polaris, has twice been a finalist for the National Poetry Series.
Christina teaches creative writing and literature at University of Denver where she recently received her doctorate.
