Through exercises and brief readings, this class will bridge the gap between personal correspondence and poetry or literary prose. We'll explore direct address to write, as Kurt Vonnegut recommended, "with one person in mind" (interpreting one and person loosely). This class is for writers of all levels, including those who fear that their collected emails might someday be deemed their best work.
