Title:
Writing Book Proposals: How to think like an editor, seduce a publisher, and land a six-figure book deal

Cost:
$95.00

Description:

You’ve got a solid nonfiction book idea, have started to polish the prose, and have already picked out the pen you’ll use to sign the publishing contract. This means it’s time to start working on the book proposal. In this day-long workshop, you’ll learn: what a book proposal is; why you should start thinking about the proposal long before the book is finished (hint: it can help you better understand the book you’re trying to write); why book projects get rejected; and, the components of a rock-solid book proposal. You’ll also begin drafting your proposal and learning to think like an agent or editor. Bring lots of paper!
