One-on-One Help

Lighthouse Writers Workshop provides one-on-one services to writers who want to work closely with our faculty. Our staff of award-winning writers of fiction, non-fiction, plays, screenplays, magazine articles, and poetry will work with you on any phase of your project, whether it's in the idea, middle draft, or the editing phase. If needed, they'll help you develop a customized instruction plan.

Want to begin? Here's how.

To choose a person you'd like to work with, please check our faculty bios. If you have no preference, we'll find a good match for you.
Give us a call us at (303) 297-1185, or send along an e-mail to schedule a preliminary meeting with the faculty member you've selected. There, you can discuss your goals and possible ways of working together.

If it's a good match, schedule work-time with the faculty member. In most cases, it can be useful to do a "trial" session together--where you work with the instructor on something small (several poems, a short story, one or two chapters of a novel, etc.) just to get a feel for how the process works. If it meets your satisfaction, then you can move on to larger projects.

Once the project is completed, or at certain steps during the process, we'll send you an invoice. Payment should be made to Lighthouse Writers. If you'd like to pay by credit card, please call us at (303) 297-1185.

Member Rates: $70-100 per hour for one to nine hours, reduced rates for packages of ten hours or more.
